Tonight I'd like to go to a very quiet place
And hide from those worries that take up so much space
I cannot make them stop but I can go inside
And seek refuge from those demons that are lurking outside
Starting to take breaths I inhale gentle peace
And letting out my breath all evils I release.
Again I take in breaths inhaling the Divine
Exhaling i release what chains this heart of mine.
I am going to the river to ponder and be still
Hoping that some insight will rest upon my will.
So much has come upon me I wish it would cease
Next to the calming waters I find an inner peace.
