What are we doing?

Oh what are we doing, and what have we become
Can we stop for a moment: stop everyone
Stop all of this fighting,and stop all the hate
Heaven is crying and it's getting too late... 

The headlines, the media, the word on the street

Is echoing a sorrow that is tragically deep 

We've lost it the innocence the reason for being

And  become all  this madness that we're continuously seeing

Oh what are we doing, and what have we become
Can we stop for a moment: stop everyone
Stop all of this fighting,and stop all the hate
Heaven is crying and it's getting too late... 

The politics; the newsroom; the riots that arise

Are shaking the universe... from the floor to the skies

The elements; the minerals;  the air and the sea

All of them, are revolting.. Oh when will we see......?

Whatever your reasoning  and whatever you say
Can never excuse it: what's  happening today
The hatreds the agendas the divisions we see
All of them are shouting ..and a reckoning will be..
