In this land  so often we sing
Freedom is the American thing
Yet so many  still aren't free
Look around and you will see

We so often discriminate
And find ways to segregate
Yet we say that we are free
Look around and you will see

We still ignore the minority
And promote inequality
Yet we boast that we are  free
Look around and you will see

If America is to be
Truly the land of the free
There's  a change that must be
