His Children

With kindness and caring, with compassion and love
This is how He has treated  us: the good God above
So, we, as His children, the recipients of this all
Should turn and be similar to the great ones and small

We are, all of us, children of an Immense Loving God
He is ever beside us on each road we trod
Though we are often forgetful in some of our ways
We are forever protected by the Giver of days.

The tempter will always tempts us in everything we do
He will whisper the wrong things and distort what is true
A jealous one from the outset he will push us to be
Forgetful of the others and the promoters of  "ME"

We are, all of us, children of an Immense Loving God
He is ever beside us on each road we trod
Though we are often forgetful in some of our ways
We are forever protected by the Giver of days

If we are not loving and not doing our best
To spread seeds of kindness and true happiness
We are only being selfish and not being the all
We were fashioned to be initially when God choose to call..

We are, all of us, children of an Immense Loving God
He is ever beside us on each road we trod
Though we are often forgetful in some of our ways
We are forever protected by the Giver of days..

So turn to Him always and turn to Him right now
And tell Him you are ready by a promise and a vow
To be for Him always that vessel of grace
That will flow out to the world in every time and place
