Together we can do so very much
But, for many, this idea is so out of touch
Instead we're content to rabble and ride
On political viewpoints that crush and divide
We want all the world to see our view
Despite the cost it may place on you..
So we push and push with our rants irate
And create through our protests: an un-divided state.
Perhaps if we were all schooled in a little law
We'd change our view on what we saw
We'd see our family: the United states
Exposed and vulnerable and needing some gates
