Outside my window

Outside of my window and upon a tree
Some purplish flowers are looking at me
They smile, they wave and sing their song
I can hear their melodies all day long

Like violets but not they all smell good
And delight my eyes just like they should
But if I want to hold them and gather them near
I must be content with holding them here

They are like the heavens: so sweet and serene
And hold the Eternal..if you know what I mean..
For their essence; their beauty; and intense perfume,
Are, all of them, His Echo..He gives their bloom...

I can sit here for hours and write some more
About all of their beauty that seems to soar
Through the elements and molecules that touch me deep
But I have to move on and continue to seek...

God's still God...

The temperatures were sizzling burning up the air
Waves of ozone toxin were rising everywhere
Then there were bursts of action: the clouds let out a roar
And soon the dried up elements weren't thirsty any more

For in the midst of everything ...this heatwave, on the go
Bowed beneath the Heavens: who said God still loves us so...
The rains poured down around us and brought us respite to our day
God is still the Captain and will always make a way

So if you're in your hard place and your life is looking grim
Turn your eyes to Heaven..   place all your trust in Him
Who can change your dryness into water and water into wine
God is still our Father and will help us every time..

There isn't a situation He can't solve or He can't ever fix
He's  still my all time Favorite when I'm in a hopeless mix
For He's proven it throughout the centuries and in this life of mine
He's not going to leave us helpless: for we're in His Heart Divine

We're needing a new America

Can we not try to be more caring and more loving every day
And not always be the ones who have to have right of way
What would it cost us any to sacrifice and show we care:
If only we didn't have to hear our praises everywhere..

What would our world be like if everyone would look around
And help those needy people who are longing to be found
What if we'd let down our barriers and would pull down every wall
We would begin to see the broken and the helpless: great and smll

We have this strange idea of what being human really is
And feel that we have the right to be behaving such as this
Pushing around our agendas and not respecting the rights of any
Doing what we can to advance despite the needs of  many

We are a divided world because we have lost the light within
And have adopted for ourselves a new rule book to help us win
The praise of all the peoples and the respect of the new elite
We frown on the little people and the beggars on the street

A new prophet we are needing...a new voice who will shout it out
That this path that we have undertaken should never make us proud
For we're shunning all the beautiful for the fakeness all around
We are needing a new America ...where the love of others will abound..

Temperatures climb

Temperatures are climbing and its hot everywhere
Heatness and humidity are overtaking the still air
Breathing's more labored and the creatures all crawl
Summer's just starting..and we're longing for fall

Cool treats are welcome and the ice chips we create
Soothe all of our senses and also  seem to dilate
All of the moisture that is thickening the air..
We feel all of this season; as it shouts everywhere

It's important to be prudent and to slow down our rush
As the full force of summer is sharing her touch
For the burdens upon us seem so much heavier right now
And we must keep our coolness and our serenity somehow

The angels told me you were crying

The angels told me you were crying  they told me this..it's true
I wanted so much to help you but I just didn't know what to do
So I listened inside of my being to the sighings of your heart
And bid the Heavens above to help you... to help you to restart

I can hear the Heavens answering boldly: he's not gone, he's just asleep
At this vigil that you're keeping do not linger and do not weep
For the one  you thought was suffering ..the one you had to let go
Is no longer held here captive.. he's okay and wants you to know

You wanted so badly to be there during those last hours those last days
But one thing after another kept stopping you ..  causing delays
And now you're feeling a bit mournful. like you didn't do your best
Please push this all aside now.. For God knows your heart..please rest

I can hear the Heavens answering boldly: he's not gone..he's just asleep
At this vigil that you're keeping do not linger and do not weep
For the one  you thought was suffering ..the one you had to let go
Is no longer held here captive.. he's okay and wants you to know

There's many questions you still have now many things inside you replay
They're only holding your heart captive keeping you from a better day
So let this all go now let it go.. do not hold onto what could have been
You'll see him again..your  beloved.. where there's no longer pain or sin

Our guardians

All around us every day
Invisible guardians along the way
Guard us gently watch us speak
Help us know what we should seek

Angel guardian quiet lights
Know our mornings know our nights
Whisper directions make them clear
In their speaking, God is near

Through their voices through their song
God is speaking right from wrong
Leading softly through their glow
All God's Essence we can know

So we listen and we pray
To these guardians every day
Seeking wisdom seeking light
We are protected .day and night

Try to hear..

Gentle drops of soothing rain
Soak the earth with sweet refrain
Healing ..cooling .. making new
Every droplet sings an: "I love you"

Moistening molecules; falling free..
Fulfilling all they're meant to be:
Cleansing, refreshing, empowering all
One small droplet.. one great call

Nothing magnificent, in our eyes,
Yet each raindrop from the skies:
Sings a lullaby, sure to soothe
God is behind their every move..

Take each droplet and hold it near
You will surely begin to hear
An echo eternal from Heaven above
God is showering us with  pure love

It isn't so hard to see and know
Where each beauty begins to flow
From the heights to earth below
God is everywhere and  loves us so...

Take some moments...

Let your words,  turn into rhyme
Take some moments, take some time...
See what things, you can  truly say:
When written words are the only way.

Slow your breathing, slow your mind:
Silence all the thoughts you find.
All that running and all that rush:
Still them all, and feel God's touch.

Step away from all you're doing
All that unhealthiness, that is brewing
Smell the breezes and feel the wind
Hear your healing ...deep within..

 In yourself, you are complete
 Though you want and though you seek:
 God has made you: made you well:
 Beautiful; wonderful; lovable self..

 Tell the world and let it shine
 We're all a part of the Great Divine
 in His likeness the Lord of all
 Has made each person:  great and small

Beautifulness

Morning shines into my room
Singing sweetly..like perfume;
And she serenades my heart..
Challenging me to a beautiful start

No resistance shall I make
To her suggestions as I wake:
For I know as all can know
Morning brings the Eternal's glow

Rising up I stretch and gaze
At all the wonderfulness of this day
Stars now hidden but not the sun
Clouds are gathering .. day's begun

Creatures romp and wait for me
To toss them out their daily seed
Squirrels, rabbits, cardinals too
Many a bird type..this is true

Off to water the flowering plants
Who invite me into  sacred dance
As they flow without the  breeze
They teach me movements...no one sees

So, it is, each day I will rise
To venture out with open eyes
To see the  wonders that await:
Gifts from God..from Heaven's gait

Heaven

 Heaven is calling out to us and is such a beautiful state
 We cannot even imagine it we will just have to wait
 It's beyond all of our abilities to picture it.. or design
 An image that comes close to it in our frail human mind..

 The angels are preparing us watching us night and day
 So that we will be ready when the Heavens come our way
 Reminding us of our manners and of the actions we should take
 Angels are our guardians and will help us navigate...

 We are only humble travelers and are passing through this land
 Our hearts were made for Heaven and we should surely understand
 That nothing can ever come close to it; or even begin to shine
 As much as the Light of God that calls out to your heart and mine

Our Savior's wonderful name..

Life is a mixture of the good times and the bad
We are happy and then at times we are also sad
But one Constant stays forever and ever the same
And that is the powerful influence of our Savior's wonderful name

So we call out to You day and night....and  night and day
Jesus Jesus Jesus we are courageous enough to say
We believe You are our Everything and All we can ever need
Come now Lord and kindly help us ..... intercede

We have known the storms that can shake us so deep within
And the happy times that make us feel unshakeable again and again
You, Lord,  remind us whenever we are in temptation or in doubt
We have only to call on You to chase all these Demons out

So we call out to You day and night....and  night and day
Jesus Jesus Jesus we are courageous enough to say
We believe You are our Everything and All we can ever need
Come now Lord and kindly help us .... intercede

Many will fault us for our simple ways and our trust
They will challenge us into the main stream ..and say: "you really must"
They cannot ever see or even begin to understand
That You are our Captain and we can lack nothing with You at hand

So we call out to You day and night....and  night and day
Jesus Jesus Jesus we are courageous enough to say
We believe You are our Everything and All we can ever need
Come now Lord and kindly help us .... intercede

We go to sleep and we rest secure in Your ever loving grace
Though the world is falling apart around us ... in every place
We know You will ever protect us and be our Guiding Way
You are our everything Jesus ..You are where we should  hope to ever stay

So we call out to You day and night....and  night and day
Jesus Jesus Jesus we are courageous enough to say
We believe You are our Everything and All we can ever need
Come now Lord and kindly help us .... intercede

Death comes too soon

When someone dies, we feel the pain
Of losing that someone who won't remain
It isn't the sorrow of one who's ill
But that which comes when life is still

And so we cry and lament and bid farewell
It tears our hearts ..and we feel like hell
The grief; the sorrow; and the open wound
Reminds us all:  death comes too soon..

We watch the body of our life long friend
Lowered carefully into a man made trench
It rips our souls our hearts all bleed
If only death would spare us the ones we need

Shout out to all ..our God will rein

Each morning and evening and middle of day
Stop for a moment and quietly say
A word of thanks to He who is
The Creator and Maker and Eternal Bliss

You are the One, Lord

Early morning and all the world's asleep

Remind me softly of how much I mean to You

To You Almighty Who gives Me every reason to rejoice
In all of my moments and  in all of my hours
You are the One, Lord, Who sustains this world of ours

Darkness lingers, and the day hasn't yet begun
And I ponder over it: all that You have done
You created this universe and all the cosmos too
Everything created .. It all belongs to You

So I want to thank You and I sing out with all my voice
To You Almighty Who gives Me every reason to rejoice
In all of my moments and  in all of my hours
You are the One, Lord, Who sustains this world of ours

When daylight enters and morning starts to shine
I see You Greatness warming this heart of mine
In the tiniest seedling and in the grandiose sea
You're speaking Your love Lord and all It's Immensity

For all who are sorrowing..and feeling some grief
Who have known painful moments without any relief
For all  who have known it: the one darkest day
I say to you:  be strong now .. For Love's on the way

Are not wasted moments or suffered in vain
Each moment you're given: each second of time
Is something God's using to shape and refine....

The heartaches and troubles that are overtaking you
Are all of them blessings,,, though invisible..it's true
The brokenness and weeping the health scares and falls
Are vehicles God's using; He uses them all..

All of your sorrowing.and all of your pain

That loneliness and betrayal and inconsiderate word
Seem to destroy you but can't change your worth
Your precious and valuable and uniquely designed
By the Almighty ..Omnipotent ..in Whom you will shine

Oh..Let us sit here in this space
Enveloped by His Amazing Grace
And ponder over the mystery of all

For I'm sure it'll bring a smile
When we think of all He's done
God the Father .. through His Only Son

If you don't know what you should say
Simply sit here and admire the way
God blesses us each and everyone
We can see everything He has done

Do you ever just sit awhile and think
Without any reason or anything
Just soaking it in: everything that's around:
All the beauty .. all the sound??

It takes so very little time
To  make contact with the Great Divine
He's so present and with us all
We have only to open up and call..

I can go on and on about it all
But I don't want to override His call
So I will be silent  now and wait
For God's awesomeness to resonate..

Stop for a moment..

Before the morning can share her shine
There's a song inside this heart of mine;
And I unite it to the earliest song
That starts to sound before the dawn.

I can hear the sparrows as they all sing out
Without the need to boast or shout
Their melody precedes the morning glow
That brightens us all.. with its overflow..

A sudden sense of calm and peace
Overtakes the noisiness inside of me
And silences the murmurs the inner revolt
That cause my heart to fret and jolt..

The breeziest touch..the quietest air
Envelopes my heart.. with a tranquil share
From the places angelic and thrones Divine:
I can feel my soul become a shrine...

If for a moment..a second or two
You can stop and hear the voice in you
You'll hear the One the Eternalness Sublime
Transforming each moment.. each second of time

So listen and ponder and please be still
Let all of the wonderment of eternity fill
Your heart; your soul.. your waking mind
With melodies no person can create or find

Oh the wonderfulness

Whispers of the wind are dancing upon my face
Molecules and atoms are opening up all over the place
Early morning sun is aglow with its healing beams
You look and you look: all is beautiful it always seems

The quietness is only interrupted by the peaceful melody
Chirped out in all freeness from a bird you cannot see
Lightness and all awesomeness is merged inside the dawn
How much wonderfulness is all around us .. I am so deeply drawn

Hush now, try to hear it all the soundings of this day
Riding upon the breezes and echoing along the way
The Eternal and the mortal  are forever in sweet exchange
The more we surrender to Him the more our hearts will change

We cannot begin to explain it all this beautifulness all around
Our eyes are ever seeing it and our ears are ever in its sound
We could go throughout a lifetime and never come to see
That everything we are needing has already been given to you and me..

God desires it

I just love you because I can
Doesn't matter.. if you're woman or man..
In God's eyes, we're all the same
We're all His Children, in Jesus' name..

I don't care how much you weigh:
I'll love you freely, day by day..
God desires it.... wants us all
To love each other: great or small

Time's too short to fuss or fight;
Lets walk together, in God's light:
Helping... loving...and doing good
As we know God's children should

Summer time, Winter, Fall and Spring:
Let's be content to always sing
God is good and God is great
In God's love we all were made..

What's happening to us?

The angels weep, they cry, they plead
For all of us who truly need:
The love of God; His light; His grace;
For violence erupts all over the place

Where is that spirit that Eden knew..
Where love and life so easily grew?
The wrath of Cain at Able's door
Now flows again along earth's floor

It isn't some stranger but ones we know
Who cause this pool of blood to flow
It is outrageous and so unfair
That we see such bloodshed everywhere

Why is it happening..almost, every day:
The sound of gun fire along the way?
Hopeless and helpless some carry a gun
And let out their feelings on everyone..

We are so focused on all that we want
That we fail to see what we should confront
The systems that are failing the hatreds too
If only we'd do what we're suppose to do

The Heavens wouldn't weep or cry or stress
Over all of our world that's become a mess
We would be pleasing instead of not
And we'd love each other as we ought..

Thank you Jesus

Thank You Jesus for this day
Where You speak in quiet way
To my spirit.. to my heart
Teaching me to do my part

Thank You Jesus for Your love
Showered from Your Throne above
In my life..and in my way
I want to thank You every day

Thank You Jesus for each friend
You provide and You do send
How delightful how immense
Is Your love and Providence.

Thank You Jesus for Your Way
Of giving guidance day by day
Through Your Spirit Ligt Divine
Enters into this heart of mine

Thank You Jesus for Your grace
Open to all in every place
Help me guide me speak through me
So Your love is all they see

Let's be friends

You don't have to give me lots; just be a really good friend
One who's there when all are gone; who's with me to the end..
Be for me, like I am for you: so faithful, honest and true
And we will be like the story books say: friends our whole life through

You don't have to be.."all that":like those who brag and boast'
Who seem to measure all their worth by who can have the most
Just be yourself, whatever that is...and that ...I will truly praise
For no one is able to impress me more than one who isn't seeking to amaze....

I'll be for you a true blue friend and you can be for me the same
We'll relish the time we pass together and protect each other's name
The energy we share and the words we speak will spark a raging fire
That spreads into our little world where love is soon to expire...
