God is still God

God is still God in the sunshine and rain
In moments of laughter ..and in moments of pain
He's present and listening and loving us all
God is still God of the great and the small

God is still Creator and is creating even now:
The rainbows.. the sunsets ..the land that we plow
Without a need for petitions or seeking replies;
God is still Creator of the earth and the skies

God is still our Father and we're still, His  own
Despite all our grumblings and ingratitude we've shown
He's giving and caring and is supplying our needs
God is still our Father and is  ever trying to please..

God is still our Answer..our Everything ...our All
We have only, but,  one lifetime: to answer His call
Let us be diligent and  eager and  people of Light
For God is still our Answer  and will lead us to do right
