Live like you believe

Today everybody is celebrating in a very special way
The Resurrection of Jesus who broke death's eternal day
Conquering all the consequences brought on by our selfish sin
Jesus opened up all the Heavens, so that we could enter in

So now we are all recreated with the precious blood of Christ
Who did not withstand the suffering or the ultimate sacrifice
He suffered it, for a moment so that we could all rise up with Him
Satan can no longer hold us.. we are washed and purified within

The sadness of all those memories, of that painful tortuous death
Could sadden  us for a moment or leave us gasping for  breath
It's almost too much to fathom and it's too  much for us to take in
But for the fact that He is now Risen and no is no longer suffering..

So now we are all recreated with the precious blood of Christ
Who did not withstand the suffering or the ultimate sacrifice
He suffered it, for a moment so that we could all rise up with Him
Satan can no longer hold us.. we are washed and purified within

Live now like those who have learned this and know it to be true
God has given us our Jesus to undo all the sin we were fastened to
We haven't anything more to do now but to live like we all believe
That Jesus is our Resurrection and we have nothing more we need
