The unscupulous mind

The truth will come out so don't hide it inside
Honesty will protect you like a shield by your side
Hiding your reality may buy you some delay
But sooner or later your truth will display.

Some have the habit of twisting things around
Sincerity is lost, no truth can be found
Conscience is buried beneath all the lie
How can you  stop it if you don't even try?

How many more people will end up being hurt
By the person who puts on dishonesty's shirt
Appearing as cordial and  overly kind
The liar is the owner of the unscrupulous mind

  1. Joy this poem talks directly to an incident that happened to me a couple of nights ago. A person in my life who lies and causes constant hurt to everyone as a result. The song is perfect, "say what you need to say". So hard at times to say what you need to say but so important. Thank you.
