It's Easter

The flowers are dancing while the showers remain
The birds are making music to the rhythm of rain
Easter has come  and we celebrate it each year
Recalling  the story of a  Resurrection most dear.

Children with their candy and their faces aglow
Radiate a happiness that we wish we could know
But it is the same happiness that we link to the day
When Jesus arose and pushed the great stone away

We can all enjoy this  Easter like the children we know
For Easter is for everyone and gives everyone a glow
We don't have to be gloomy or wear a long face
For Jesus has Risen and is arranging us all a place
