God is in the waiting

You don't have to decide it all in one day
Take some time out to let God show you the way
Hastiness has never proven to be any blessing for you

Sometimes you are feeling like you need some solution
To all of  the problems that approach like some intrusion
But this is not your battle or war to be fighting
You have a whole army beside  you: I see an angel sighting..

Pressure from your peers can be mounting on each side
Some how they are  pushing for you.. to "finally decide"

There are those who promote impatience.. you know what I mean:

In the moment and the timing that is meant to be right
God will enlighten you with His ever present Light

Where is God...?

Oh,what is God's church and where can it be
Is it just in a building or can I say it's in me
Must it be for the moment or for every hour of the day
Is church only church..when we gather to pray

Where is God's temple and what does it hold
Is it simply a building like we've always been told
Or is it also a being and a gathering and a time
Where God is ever present with His Presence Divine?

Oh where are the Heavens and where is the One
Who created our eternity and gave us His Son
Is it upward or downward or found after we die
If we ponder sincerely .. we'll know.. .You and I

But God's not in the  buildings and He's not "over there"
He isn't restricted to some long hours of prayer
He's isn't in the temporal and He cannot ever be held
God isn't some Being that rule books can quell

So rethink it .. your thinking..Of God and His Ways
He's different from everything we've learned all our days
We musn't be smugness and think that we're always right
For everyone is welcome in the Good God's Delight

We're trading our birthrights

What are we doing and why do we hate
We are all changing our lives and we're changing our fate
We're wandering away from the love and the grace
That gave us our being and our most sacred space

We're  living for the flashy.. the fame... and the light
But can't even come close to the Heavenly delight

The hours of our days are now looking like: Rush
We have all become so busy that we're unable to touch
The quietest of moments or the soft blowing breeze
We whirl and we whirl around a life that deceives

We're trading our birthrights, our soul's true reward
For something so fleeting..something..so wrongly scored
We're living for the flashy.. the fame... and the light
But can't even come close to the Heavenly delight

Once we were all simpler and were so easy to please
We could understand the moments and the sounds of the seas
But now we are all blinded and so unable to hear
The soft sounding voices, that remind us: we're dear..

We're trading our birthrights, our soul's true reward
For something so fleeting..something ..so wrongly scored
We're  living for the flashy.. the fame... and the light
But can't even come close to the Heavenly delight

If even for an hour or for a few moments each day
We could silence our being and silently stay
In the absence of everything that isn't from God
We'd soon find that true happiness is something we've got..

We've all been created and so gifted with grace
That we are not lacking at any time or place...
Yet we all keep on searching and unable to find
That the secret to our longing is waiting to unwind

Early morning, bright blue skies
Call to me and catch my eyes
Beautiful in their loveliness
I am moved to pure tearfulness.

Slow the pace and slow the time
Before I start my daily grind
Looking carefully ..seeing all
God has blessed us: great and small

Sounds so peaceful sounds serene
Create the perfect melodic scene
As I hear them I do cry
God is everywhere don't deny

Want to stay here:  in this place,
Where the heart is wrapped in grace;
But,  time's  ticking and I must go
But I'll return here: this I know

Morning morsels for you

It is truly okay if everyone does not agree
With your ideas and  hopes and things that you see
Keep on hoping and dreaming and embrace everywhere
The sounds of the Omnipotent His beauty His prayer

Seek nothing from anyone but be ready to give
A smile and an embrace and a reason to live
For your timing and caring may be just the thing
That someone who's struggling is needing you to bring

Be content with your blessings no matter how small
And be ready to share them with one and with all
For the more that you're willing to extend out your hand
The more you will receive back ..do  you now understand

God cannot be outdone by your generosity or time
His payback is certain and so easy to find
In the moments and morsels that come every day
Or in someone who is kindly and passing your way

Be thankful and  grateful; and be loyal and true
To the One who is providing such blessings for you
For never for a moment or a second or other
Will God ever abandon you .   HE's Father and Mother..

I'm not going to lie...

For all those who never knew 
 a loving mother.

I cannot really say
Anything about this  great day
That hasn't been said
On someone else's thread

So..I'm not going to lie
Or say things some'll deny
So I'll keep my mouth shut
About my childhood bad luck

For the mother I knew
Left me broken and blue
And despite how I tried
My identity ..she  denied

I find myself blocked
By those who are shocked
By the truth that I knew
Till the year "82"

I wish that all could really say
In their truth... in their  way
That this day brings them back
To the good memories .. I lack

Don't be so proud ....

Don't be afraid to get dirty..some yuck upon your hands
While tending to the flowers..each of their lovely strands
Don't shy away from the tilling or the  care of this earth
For it's beautiful and wonderful to witness a new birth

So... be humble not so proud in the the things that you do
Whether cleaning or preaching feel blessed that it's you
Who is chosen to do this mission.. the high and the low
For God will be pleased with the humility you show...

Boast not,, so very quickly, of your wonderful degree
Don't stand out there and show it for everyone to see
The things that you are doing.. the goals that you have
Let your spirit, be the announcer of everything you plan.

Don't be puffed up..or judgmental or difficult with all.
Dismiss them, your expectations..of the great and the small
Be ready to be dismissive of the faults that you may find
In your neighbor ..your coworker ..or any of humankind

Who is chosen to do this mission...the high and the low
For God will be pleased with the humility you show.

If you will be my friend...

I don't want a great big house and don't desire a grandiose car
I can do without  the sparkly things and the vacations..oh so far
I cannot however go without the sincerity that comes to me
From every person I call my friend for this is all I need

So I'll save you money if you come my way and choose to be my friend
We won't have to visit the shopping malls or look for ways to spend
My happiness is in the simple things.. yes.. It's simple just like me
If you would want to be my friend ..just be yes truly be..

It's not important to me ..your hair..or the color of your sparkly eyes
I don't even mind if you swear a word or have clothing with many dyes
I don't really like the bragging types or the ones who step on all
My friends are all the simple ones who have love for great and small

So I'll save you money if you come my way and choose to be my friend
We won't have to visit the shopping malls or look for ways to spend
My happiness is in the simple things.. yes.. It's simple just like me

There isn't any place for prejudice or any snobbery over here
I prefer to see each and every one like a sister or brother dear
I cannot handle them:  the  righteous ones.. who feel they are always right

Day after day almost like its suppose to be
Another school is headlining a terrible tragedy
Soaked in blood and brokenness
Angels carry up earth's sorrowing to His Eternalness
