Icy crystals on the ground
Chilly whispers start to sound
From the ground so cold and white
Frozen figures greet the light
Just a moment out the door
And the coldness chills us sore
Quickly moving here and there
It's too cold to breathe this air
Hard to think that Fall is here
When the coldness holds us near
Warmness comes but runs away
For the chill has final say..
Bundle up outside and in
Freezing weather is here again
Don't be foolish for it's true
Flu and colds can get hold of you..
Greetings Joy. I enjoyed reading your poem. It's nice to snuggle up during the cold nights! I wear many layers at the moment! I enjoyed listening to the song you posted - Jesus bless you. Take good care.
