The day after Thanksgiving and what do we see?
People are running as crazy as can be
Shopping and spending and acting "unpoor"
People are pushing their way through the store
This thing or that thing.. "Oh, what should I buy"?
"It's time for great savings: I have to at least try"
So mixed up in the ratrace and running around
The shoppers are rushing to see what can be found..
The buggies are filled up and they get into line
Long is their waiting and it's way after nine
The totals are summed up and the cards are pulled out
"Thank God for this plastic".. they inwardly shout
Finally they're home and they're starting to unpack
Wondering and wondering "did I really need that"
Things they have purchased, in the rush of the day,
Were really not needed: Oh, what can we say..
Greetings Joy. Some shoppers do go over the top for a bargain, needed or not! Times best forgot, as some punters shop until they drop. Some have a lot to learn, and some yearn for a turn in prices! Blessings to you.
