There's a soothing symphony of crickets gracing this early morn
Sounding out their remedies: they can heal the bruised and torn
Rythmically they are playing..that familiar melody
That echoes through the daylight and wakens you and me.
The insects know their place
They serenade us with their grace
Like the showers from the Heavens above
Creatures remind us of God's love
Like the sounding of many cymbals or the ringing of tambourines
A hundred thousand crickets are creating these soothing scenes
Quieting down,so slowly, as light of dawn ascends
These happy little chirpers, disappear like the passing trends..
The insects know their place
They serenade us with their grace
Like the showers from the Heavens above
Creatures remind us of God's love
All of a sudden, you cannot hear them: the new day is fully here
Other sounds are now replacing them, till evening; it is clear
Like the changing of the shadows, from the sun so magnificently high
These creatures will sleep, in nature, till daylight becomes the night
The insects know their place
They serenade us with their grace
Like the showers from the Heavens above
Creatures remind us of God's love
I enjoyed reading your poem. I don't harm any creatures if at all possible! God bless you. You are a good poet.
