The waters are rising

Tears from the Heavens.. tears in my eyes:
Rivers are rising; this isn't a guise
People are crying and people are in need:
Stuck in the waters: will they recede?

Heaven, Oh Heaven, hear now our prayer
The waters are rising; they  flood everywhere
People are clinging; the people all cry
Waking they see it: the rivers, they rise...

Would that they'd heed us; would that they wait..
The people in panic, will not hesitate:
They rush through the waters: they try to escape
Despite all the warnings, through waters they trape

The waters are rising; they  flood everywhere
People are clinging; the people they cry
Waking they see it: the rivers, they rise...

Don't forget peoples ....don't forget prayer
God is all powerful and He's everywhere
Miracles can happen and  miracles will
Rise up before you; if you remember Him still
