Hurricane Harvey
Voices in the wind
Cry out from deep within
A stormy night of fear
Has told us: Harvey's here.
Rough and breezy night
Devastation's in sight
No way to walk or run
Destruction has begun
The news is all alive
But no one else inside
Can call or shout at all
The winds have begun to brawl
Power outages rage
Headlines fill the page
Harvey's path so cruel
Continues his ruthless rule..
The daylight will surprise
And fill our weary eyes;
With tears and disbelief:
This storm is such a thief..
To those who will remain
In wind and pounding rain
Be safe and be you well
There's stories you will tell..
In all this uncertainty
That you'll witness and will see
Remember that: there's One
Who rules the sea and Sun..
A good piece. The forces of nature are enormous. Sorry for its victims.
