In every raindrop

Gray skies stretch out all around
Raindrops fall and cover the ground
Breezes blow and create some chill
Seedlets await the spring time still

Squirrels will romp and race the rain
Pinwheels spin again and again
Robbins poke and seek for food
Showers will soften the soil: they should

Hour by hour the second hand turns
One more droplet... another soul yearns
Storm clouds carry the  pains, the sighs,
In every raindrop: the universe cries

  1. Greetings Joy. I enjoyed reading your poem expressing the rain with some pain and some gain, as to smile is well worthwhile whether in trial, denial or in happiness with gladness. I enjoyed watching and listening to the song you posted. Blessings to you. Love love, Andrew.
