Do we really believe that this bombing is any good?
Can any of these explosions encourage others to act as they should?
How does the harming of innocents in that country way abroad
Undo the wrongs begun by the Syrian leader, Assad?
All of this has me wondering when is killing ever really right?
The sending out of missiles is better than the chemical plight?
Are we, therefore, any better than the murderers that we try to accuse?
When missiles land so haplessly, destroying more than we can choose
Solving violence with an act of violence is never ever a win
It might appear to be so laudable but newer problems begin
The flexing of some egos can serve only to open a door
Where Satan can inspire other countries into an act of war...
All of this has me wondering when is killing ever really right?
The sending out of missiles is better than the chemical plight?
Are we any better than the murderers that we try to accuse?
When missiles land so haplessly, destroying more than we can choose
Life is always so beautiful: whether it is over here or over there
We always have to advocate its protection with greatest care
Protecting it doesn't give us a license to destroy another's land
Somehow we need to learn how to construct a better plan..
All of this has me wondering when is killing ever really right?
The sending out of missiles is better than the chemical plight?
Are we, therefore, any better than the murderers that we accuse?
When missiles land so haplessly, destroying more than we can choose
