Friends forever

You came into my life like a shining star
And gave of your time and of who you are
A sense of greatness and of certainty
Are some of the things you have shared with me

I feel so much gratitude and so much  relief
That God has joined our paths with hands unseen
A uniqueness of vision and kindliness
Are things we have shared so ..often-ness

We cannot describe it with words or phrase
The times we have shared ..the numberless days
That have joined our hearts like welded steel
Friends forever and ever is what I feel..

You can count on me and I can count on you
Our friendship is forever and our friendship is true
Heaven alone could have made  such a thing
That lasts forever and ever without diminishing.
