Something is echoing

A volcano is flowing and erupting all around
Kilauea, sweet Kilauea, what an ominous sound....
Streams of her bright lava and her fiery display
Reminds us that everything will all pass away

And dear Mother Nature is acting up still
She whispers and rages in line with God's Will
The mountains are all shaking and the rivers overflow
Something is echoing, through all of this, you know

Storm clouds are all gathering; the rains showers down
And rivers are overflowing in a Maryland town
Earthquakes are all over and the whirlwinds do run
Reminding us always that life can be undone

Nations are all gathering and making an attempt
To secure peaceful actions some hope to extend
With all of the hungry and all of the greed
Love is the only answer that will give what we need
