Skies up above me are all turning to gray
Clouds gather together with so much to say
Darkness is descending and creating some night
Moon from a distance is sharing her light...

And the night creatures scamper and jump all around
Lights from the city are flickering without sound
Things once so inanimate are now coming alive
We need the darkness and the day light to survive

Scampering through dry leaves and searching the sky
Hoot owls are seeking some nourishment nearby
Creepy crawlies are slithering and mouses all run
Night brings its action when day time is done...

Planted in the daylight the night air will shake
