When will we stop it..the shooting of the innocent
Color or culture should not even be relevant
Killing is killing: a black person or white
Injustice is injustice and something's not right
Tears are now flowing: I'm thinking of it all
A nation of equality for great ones and small..?
Yet prejudices are prevalent and hatred is multiplying
Who will stand up now and stop liberty from dying.
Too many are the outrages, that are crying out for justice
The usage of weaponry is overrun by corruption
Civilians and lawmakers all need to be re-educated
Weapons are for protection, not for anger that's escalated
