Every morning that I waken...

The silence is speaking make time to hear
The wonders, the marvels, the whole atmosphere
It isn't a must have and surely no need
To chitter, to chatter, to grasp all with greed

Every morning that I waken I will be listening to You
In the silences within me I will hold Your words true
I will speak of Your messages with the way that I live
And I will encourage everybody to seek what You give

Yet, we haven't the ideas, or inklings of light
That can show us the mystery of Heavenly delight
So we seek it without knowing and we run after all
That will glitter and sparkle and inwardly call

Every morning that I waken I will be listening to You

I will speak of Your messages with the way that I live
And I will encourage everybody to seek what You give

The tv, the internet, the cell phones we hold
All speak to us promises we value like gold
So still we will seek it  each day, every day
That something, we know not, but feel "it's this way".
