Oh the heartaches, oh the sorrow
Afraid to watch the news tomorrow
Constant bloodshed, people fighting
Who can stop what terror's inciting
Stand we silent, stand we careful
Who among us isn't more prayerful
Wisdom's needed, guidance is given
Who will help improve our living.
Heaven's watching, earth is sighing
People's fears are multiplying
Through the outrage through the warring
Comes a voice in rain's that pouring
