I'm pleading and I'm writing and hoping I'll see..

Let there be peace,now , oh, let there be peace

May all of our warring and fighting now cease

Put away, all the hatreds and put away the fight

Let go of this ugliness, that counters the Light

Oh when will we see it and  when will we know

That all of our quarreling is having to go

We're not meant for destroying, oh  no we are not

God made us for loving,.. for good things:  we're taught

Oh, why must we tear down and why must we fight

The left sight the right side .... is anyone right?

It's terribly terrifying...and..so frightful to see

What's happening around us: isn't how it should be..

The firing of weapons and the flaming cars too:

What book of the Bible has taught this to you?

Tearing up of properties and destroying the land:

Oh my dearest Jesus we are all out of hand

I am pleading and  I am  writing and I'm hoping I'll see 

Someone who's reading will join up with me

To cry out with  reasoning and plead with great care

Hear us oh peoples God wants Love  everywhere
