The morning, so quiet, has messages serene
Inviting and challenging: do you know what I mean?
Silence: be still now, and hear what is heard
By angels and spirits without need for word..
The hours are evolving... the clock slowly ticks
Spiritual secrets come out of this mix:
Wisdom and knowledge and wonderment too..
Listen and hear now; for God speaks to you
Before there is daylight, while quieteness reigns:
Silence is speaking, like cool falling rain
Soaking our being and washing our soul:
Diviness is working, exacting no toll...
Rise up in wonder and push through your sleep
Before anyone notices try now to keep:
Vigil and wonderment with all those above,
Who sing to the world that: God is all love...
Greetings Joy. I'm an early riser, and often fall asleep early while watching TV. I love the peace and quiet of the mornings, and you are right, a time of reflection for God's awe and LOVE for us. I enjoyed reading this well-written poetic-piece. Well done. Blessings to you.
