Be with me, Lord

Be with me, my Lord, as I start this new day
Watch over my heart and the words that I say
May all of my actions; yes, all that I do
Be a constant reflection of my love for You.

Be with me my Savior, as I reach out to all.
Help me to be patient as I answer each call.
Give me your vision, that willingness to see
That each person, I encounter, is a portion of me.

Be with me, my Creator, my savior, my friend
Your presence around me, I want to extend
Be in all of my thinking before it can sound
Let no one know sadness because I'm around.
