Freedom for all

For our country boots were worn
Hands were raised and oaths were sworn
To serve this nation and motherland
Soldiers readied to take a stand

Thunderous sounds would fill the air
Bombshells flying everywhere..
Bravely being a voice of the free
You died defending our liberty

We all salute you all, today
Veteran soldiers in harms way
Man or woman,,, rich or poor
Thanks for protecting what we stand for

Some might scream and frown at war
But you've marched bravely through that door
Keeping violence from coming here
You battled through with heavy gear

Watching death come near and far
