A quietness, a stillness, and just a bit of sound
Are greeting me this morning: they're everywhere around..
Then, in an instant, a tiny outburst breaks on through;
As sunbeams start shouting with a radiance bold and true
I hear them, I see them, and gaze with waking eyes
As molecules and atoms create moisture in the skies
All of them, working together: creating a gentle rain
How soothing, refreshing: they're dancing upon my pane
The seconds, the hours, the minutes of every day
Are speaking and shouting and having so much to say
They carrying their messages, their melodies and their song
Will listen and will hear them and will try to sing along
Hear how the silences starts speaking to you
Restless, the moments, that burst open its true
From all of their places and from earth's own floor
Creatures will rise up and greet morning once more
Blue birds and black birds and sparrows as well
Sing of their evening as they're trying to sell
All of their moments and all of their joy
So much is the beauty in those songs they deploy
Slowly there's lifting a slight misty fog
Unveiling some morsels for the writer to blog
Droplets of dew and a slight morning breeze
Invites us to ponder as they try hard to please
Enough for our spirits is this new morn's display
It invites us to ponder and it inspires us to pray
Acknowledging our Maker who with kindness did give
Mornings and evenings and all things that live
When God is looking, He sees your eyes
He's not concerned with shape or size
He's not even moved by things you do
But values much, the love in you
So change your heart and change your mind Return to the love of all mankind Spend your time and spend it well On things that matter but cannot sell
You push and pull on heavy things
And break the bank for diamond rings
But what'll you give for Heaven above
Its only price is selfless love
So change your heart and change your mind Return to the love of all mankind Spend your time and spend it well On things that matter but cannot sell
The orphaned child or homeless man
Are often judged by those who can
But if you want to shine and glow
You'll be the one who'll stop.. you know
So change your heart and change your mind Return to the love of all mankind Spend your time and spend it well On things that matter but cannot sell
The days go by so fast so quick
The moments disappear, the clock does tick
What'll you show your angel of light
When, in your prayer you say: "goodnight"?
So change your heart and change your mind Return to the love of all mankind Spend your time and spend it well On things that matter but cannot sell
Reach out to the universe and touch them: all the plants
See them how they're mirroring the Eternal's Mighty Dance
Whispering in the branches and breathing on the trees
The Infinite speaks His secrets and everybody sees.
That the Almighty has a rhythm and He has a melody He sends out all His messengers; they play for you and me We can hear them in the symphony of the softly blowing breeze And see them as they move around the movement of the bees
While all the world is waking up the sounds of nature start
Birds are chirping everywhere; their music moves our heart
The leaves are moving peacefully: they bend, they bow, they sway
All the created universe is waking up to say:
That the Almighty has a rhythm and He has a melody He sends out all His messengers; they play for you and me We can hear them in the symphony of the softly blowing breeze And see them as they move around the movement of the bees
One by one the marching band of ants and insects galore
Parade across the spongy ground and dance upon its floor
The crickets and the butterflies the hoppers of every kind
Whisper to the listening heart: these messages sure to rhyme:
The Almighty has a rhythm and He has a melody He sends out all His messengers; they play for you and me We can hear them in the symphony of the softly blowing breeze And see them as they move around the movement of the bees
The rains, they are pouring, and watering all the land
Singing out their melody for all who'll understand
Carrying in their being-ness: the voices of one and all
Hear them as they're falling: how mysteriously they call
From the many countries, stories can be found
Emerging in the raindrops and echoing in their sound
We can hear the weeping widow, the orphans and the poor
And if we're really quiet we can even hear some more
Everything's so connected: the animals, plants and us;
Yes God created everything with His wisdom and His touch
His Spirit is moving everywhere and in everything we see
An image of His Wonderfulness is beckoning you and me..
When will we ever see it and when will we understand
The beauty of each person in every country and every land
We are all, but broken vessels, that are carrying the great Divine
Every one of us is so deserving of love.. so let it shine
And yet we see the missiles and we also see the wars People are becoming greedy: overpricing items in the stores Our world is turning away from the Spirit that made us care Our God had made us Sacred yet we're acting so unaware..
The headlines are all appalling and the media is just the same
No one is for reconciling its much easier to place the blame...
We're hungry for what is awful and were glued to what is mean
How many will fill a stadium for a kindly deed unseen?
And yet we see the missiles and we also see the wars People are becoming greedy: overpricing items in the stores,, Our world is turning away from the Spirit that made us care Our God had made us Sacred yet we're acting so unaware..
The channels inside our packages from Spectrum Dish or more
Are featuring the most outrageous the violence and the gore
But how are these helping our countries or are helping at all
They're planting deplorable ideas in the populations great or small
And yet we see the missiles and we also see the wars People are becoming greedy: overpricing items in the stores Our world is turning away from the Spirit that made us care Our God had made us Sacred yet we're acting so unaware..
How can we be weeping when Heaven is ours
We're higher than mountains and brighter than stars
Our struggling is over our journey is done
We sit here with Father, the Spirit and the Son
But you can keep weeping because you must wait You haven't stopped travelling or reached Heaven's gate You heart is still hurting from saying good bye Some day we'll all be here beyond the Blue Sky
The night;ll be hardest for busyness is done
You;ll think of those yesterdays: remember each one
You'll think of those good times and also the bad
How wonderfully we made with all that we had..
But you can keep weeping because you must wait You haven't stopped travelling or reached Heaven's gate You heart is still hurting from saying good bye Some day we'll all be here beyond the Blue Sky
When morning has broken and you see the new sky
Remember I love you and am always nearby
The Heavens can't keep me.. away from you dear
I am always around you, I'll always be near..
But you can keep weeping because you must wait You haven't stopped travelling or reached Heaven's gate You heart is still hurting from saying good bye Some day we'll all be here beyond the Blue Sky
Raindrops are falling like tears on the earth
Gently they sooth us and give us rebirth
Sprinkling and soaking and sounding a song
Droplets from Heaven can right every wrong
See how they sparkle and shine on the plants
Touching them gently and inspiring their dance.
Washing them warmly and quenching their thirst
Raindrops are healers who soothe away hurts
Jumping with energy or sailing with stride
Droplets keep falling from morning to night
Prepping the cosmos and readying the sky
Raindrops remind us: a rainbow's nearby
Let those tears roll down your face let them fall let them fall
All the angels will run and race to catch them all catch them all
Every heart break that you've known all the sorrows, all the pain
Will become like streets of gold where saints and angels will remain
Can you hear that angelic choir, as they sing, yes: they sing
All around they can be heard.. in everything ,,,in everything
They will sing here night and day; they'll record you: all you say
Angel guardians, spiritual guides, enlightening everyone on the way.
So you have had the roughest time: it's been rough, it's been rough
And every step that you must take: will be tough, it'll be tough
But put your hand inside God's hand; keep your heart pure and understand
God is with you through it all: that's His promise and His plan..
The skies all darkened that day and the sun closed down its shine
When Jesus stretched out His arms and earth saw This Desolate Divine
Separating from His earthly abode and carried by angels away
Momentarily leaving this world, while darkness became our day
The angels sang out their melodies; and the spirits of long ago
Echoed again the promises, which prophets and seers foretold:
A savior would come to save us and a savior would cleanse us all
Like a lamb led away to the slaughter: He answered the final call
The crowds were mocking and jeering Him, the family was near despair
The earth began its trembling and the spirits rose up everywhere
Who is this Jesus of Nazareth.. this man from Galilee?
Many were wondering and waiting and others were beginning to see
Why would a God of Power Omnipotent, with honor and glory galore
Accept such humiliation from His people and so much more?
Why wouldn't He stop these infidels and turn the world around ??
This mystery continues occurring ..Good Friday continues to sound
We can still see the Body of our Jesus: broken up and led away
In each person, who is utterly forsaken, by the powerful of our day
And like those, called to be followers, that deserted Him so long ago
We are guilty of these sames action, when we go against the Love we know
Morning brings her own surprises: beauty life and dancing sun
In her message and her breezes: she enlightens everyone
Whispering through the moving branches; singing through the birds galore:
Morning shares her song of wonder; brings us all to heaven's door
While we rise to greet the new day; while we stretch to move again:
We can hear the silent echoes of the universe deep within ..
In her every sound of morning; in her noon day heat and shine:
Mother earth is speaking softly, soothing us with sounds Divine
As we watch these morning moments and we see the world outside
We can touch them with our wanting and inhale them all inside
For we're all so interconnected and we're all one breath one life
Through the mandate of the Father we're all connected.. unified....
There is way too much of this bloodshed, this fighting that's going on
Why can't we ever see this: this grief that's wrestling dawn
Every morning we can hear of it: this strife, this war. this grief...
All of them are working together and are robbing us like a thief
The universe receives these upsets these energies of awful hate
And processes them into these catastrophes that we have seen of late:
Rain storms and awful tsunamis, hurricanes and mud sliding floor
Torrential rains that flood us and tornadoes and much much more
If everything's so connected and, we're, all of us: affecting all
Why don't we see that the solution, is inside of us.. great or small
Learning to work together. instead of, all of us: pulling apart:
We can create a world where everyone is living with loving heart
How does the taking of the life of another
Undo the wrong done to a sister or brother
What does the displaying of power of might
Do for the universe or Everlasting Light
We are not the chosen commissioned to react To another's injustices with horrific attack We are not the justices, the sheriffs of all If we are not careful, we're surely to fall
The violences, around us, will bring out a tear
But how do our warheads bring healing sincere
How can we solve it: the problems we see
With missiles or bombings... please tell this to me We are not the chosen commissioned to react To another's injustices with horrific attack We are not the justices, the sheriffs of all If we are not careful, we're surely to fall
See how the headlines are sparkling with dismay
Over rashness in actions and horrors of the day
How can we reason it, support it, or surmise
That showering of missiles will cause justice to rise?
We are not the chosen commissioned to react To another's injustices with horrific attack We are not the justices, the sheriffs of all If we are not careful, we're surely to fall
Can you not hear how the earth has been crying
All of her children are creating such sighing
Warring and fighting where there should be peace
See how she rumbles and showers her release..
All of the universe and all of us every where:
The creatures and the created; the sea and the air
Each of us united, by the bond of creation
Are united in suffering when suffers any nation..
Out in the Pacific or hear in the east side
All of us are feeling it: the hopelessness far and wide
Can we not stop it: this evilness that is spreading
Power hungry leaders leave us wondering where we're heading
Pray for the universe and pray for the nations
We're becoming a disaster because of our frustrations
Mishandling our freedoms we're robbing all free-ness
How long will it take us to realize and see this..
All of the morning and all of the night
All of the hours in the darkness and light
All of the elements and all of the plants
All of the creatures and created can dance
So, dance in the morning and dance in the night Dance in noon time when the sun is most bright Dance when you're smiling and dance when you're not Dance will be healing like the medicines you've bought
When you are sleeping and when you're awake
Angels are singing without any break
Hovering about you yes everywhere around
Angels are creating a melodious sound
So, dance in the morning and dance in the night Dance in the noon time, when the sun is most bright Dance when you're smiling and dance when you're not Dance will be healing, like the medicines you've bought
Everyone who's living and everyone who's not
Is joined to each other without any knot
All have the Spirit and all have the One
Who gave us our being when life was begun..
So, dance in the morning and dance in the night Dance in the noon time, when the sun is most bright Dance when you're smiling and dance when you're not Dance will be healing, like the medicines you've bought
