Plants that are soothing and others that are not:

Raindrops that greet us or hot summer days
Winds that can demolish or calm all our ways
Boisterous bellowing from a lava so hot
Let us be grateful for all that we've got

Mornings or evenings or  hours after noon
Earth will surprise us with beauty or bloom
Natural disasters or horizons unsought
Let us be grateful for all that we've got

Our litany continues each time that we write
For beauty and wonder is ever in sight
We mustn't be blinded by things that are bought
