Today there are storm clouds filling the sky
The Heavens are saddened; making ready to cry
Angels are waiting and are so ready to fly
Today there are storm clouds: look at the sky..

The flowers are waiting and so are the trees:
The rain is a blessing; so, send us more please
The vegetables are ripening; so ready to pick
No problem arising though clouds are so thick.

Yes there are storm clouds way up there high
They're crowding the sunlight and filling our sky
It seems to be dismal and so cloudy today
We'll carry some sunlight and brighten the way
