A tiny Baby .. a pile of hay

 A tiny baby

A pile of hay

So much unspoken

So much to say

Like: come to Me

Yes..come and see

Your  king...Your God

In obscurity.

No trumpet blast

No big parade

Will welcome Him

On Christmas Day

But rather all

Will  come and sing

Of God made man

An infant King

You'll see the poor

The shepherd kind

Who have no more

then twigs they find

To offer Him

To heat and build

These simple souls

Approach unskilled

Great kings were there

Oh yes they were

Bearing gifts like

Gold  and myhrr

They followed stars

and the greatest one

Revealed to them

God had a Son

We.. like them:

The very poor

Will come approach

Him and adore

With heartfelt thanks

and love sincere

For giving us all

This Babe most dear

Merry Christmas....Joy

Before there was a "Silent Night"

Before there was a "Silent Night"

Or "Away a manger" came to light

A baby lay in   crinkly hay

Changing night time into day

Our God came down: for you ..for me

But not as a God was suppose to be

He came to us like one in need

Instead of One who hears our pleas

His mom was there and Joseph too

But no one else... because no one knew

That this baby born with baby sight

Would come to us and be our Light

And so it is each year we sing

Of God's great Gift: our Everything

And then we proceed to look and see

What waits for us beneath the tree

Do we recall, with each gift we get

That God is sharing or do we forget

That the reason we come together.. at all

Is because God came down: so meek so small

So let us sing with Christmas cheer

With voices loud and hearts most dear

But never, ever, let it slip away

That God has made it:  this Christmas Day..

Merry Christmas everyone: love you all: Joy Pachowicz

Not my will, Lord

In my weakness, in my illness..angels call upon my name

They remind me and support me: ever present... still the same

Giving comfort, giving solace reminding me to be so still

As the Lover of my being continues to show to me His Will

Not my will Lord not my way Lord but your will be always done

From the morning till the evening till the hours no longer run

I can see it in the doctors in the nurses who look at me

Sickness grabbing trying to conquer but I will know the victory

After hours of the procedures and the tests that run so long

I will see it so transparent the healing Hand of God so strong

Not my will Lord, not my way Lord, but your will be always done

From the morning, till the evening, till the hours no longer run

I am happy in each moment that the good God  gives to me

Sometimes healthy, sometimes struggling: I embrace it.. what shall be

So, do join me, in this anthem, in this morning song.. so true

God is present in our happenings waiting on us: me and you

Not my will Lord, not my way Lord, but your will be always done

From the morning, till the evening, till the hours no longer run

An Unpublished Psalm

Warning this verse may be too challenging to some

Let there be peace for one and for all

I hear them, the angels, as they all call

Put an end to wars ... to all the fights

Such are the messages from these lights

My heart grows heavy ..and my eyes are dim

Crying  out for things that are hurting Him

Brothers are hating, and   sisters are   too

What can the Almighty say or do

We were made for love and not for  hate

How long will we continue in useless debate

Tearing down each other, even those we know

So that our own egos can shine and grow?

I cannot understand it and I refuse to hear

The negativity and nastiness so loud and clear

Republicans and democrats and whatever your side

The love of God in you has died

Nowhere in Scriptures can you  point out

A passage supporting the smears you shout

You excuse the party that supports your side

But not the one that veering too left too right?

The violence keeps growing it's glorified

In films and movies that have multiplied

The number of murders inside a scene

Do you know what I'm saying get what I mean?

How can we continue to watch such blood

And not be disturbed by such a flood

Of Gore and violence and things unkind

What has become of human kind

The Garden of Eden was lost it's true

But hope for Salvation brings life anew

It's ours to have but it won't always be

IF we don't become what God is wanting to see

Dear God, we see IDA

In the gulf, we can see it,  that awful  storm

It's growing  in waters;  that are so warm

The speed's increasing and winds gusts too

Tell us, oh IDA, what will you do?

The picture's frightening;   we are afraid

For it reminds us of another who stayed

Some years ago with death and doom

Katrina came out,  with  open tomb

I pray and plead and pound God's door

Please oh please protect earth's floor

That holds so many inside their place

Louisiana is needing Your help Your grace

The others around her, will also need

Your protection and love ..please intercede

She's so enormous and is  pushing through

IDA is approaching with noisy gloom

We trust you, completely; Oh God of all

And so we kneel and humbly call:

Protect all peoples who 'll  suffer much

Extend to  them: Your healing touch

Tears for Kabul

My heart is, truly,  so  broken

Over Kabul breaking open

Suicide bombs,,now exploding

Hopes for departure now imploding

Yes.. it is. all... over there

And not affecting our lives..our air

But shouldn't we all  care

About everyone ..everywhere?

A river of red  is now running

From bombs that are so stunning

Life breath is slipping away

Without warning without delay

Afghanistan I will truly  weep

Over, all of this, that I see

And though you are far away

I will keep vigil with you and  pray
